Back in 2012, I wrote a blog post about how the Silver Line embedded in my life is strongly connected with the French language. And it certainly followed the same pattern since! 🙂
I choose to write my blog posts in English, even I’m fluent in French, mainly because the accents would make the editing process much longer.
Yet, I didn’t forget how the French language and community helped me throughout these years.
To show my gratitude, I translated my first Photo-Coaching book in French! Yep, it took longer to get those accents right, but I also learned some new grammar tips from my book editor. All struggles are for good, right? 🙂
I’m so happy to announce that my French edition is now available on Amazon, both in Kindle and paperback format! Yippeeee! 🙂
Rencontre avec soi-même: Outil de communication avec la sagesse intérieure
(maybe you don’t see the paperback on Amazon yet, but it’s coming… it was approved yesterday)
And the best part? I’ll make it available for FREE on November 30th and December 1st.
Whether you understand French or know people who do, could you please make them aware of this little but powerful book?
Excerpt from the book description of this French edition:
Te sens-tu parfois démoralisé? Stressé, frustré ou bloqué dans une situation que tu ne peux pas contrôler? Alors, ce livre est pour toi!
Il t’emmène dans un voyage inspirant en utilisant des photos et des questions puissantes de coaching… pour t’aider à te reconnecter avec ton âme — avec cette sage partie à l’intérieur de toi qui est difficile à atteindre quand on se sent démoralisés, stressés, frustrés ou bloqués.
If you prefer to see the English edition…
You’ll find it here: Meeting With My Self: Self-Coaching Questions That Invite Wisdom In. It was published two months ago and has 53 reviews on Amazon US so far (4.8 out of 5 stars).
Here are some reviews:
“This book was very intriguing with the questions about life. I really wasn’t expecting so many pictures, which made it truly a unique experience to read. Each question makes you think about so many things. Great book.”
“I just read this book and it does exactly what it was meant to do. The questions are thought-provoking and I think they will be helpful for anyone in the ‘stuck-in-the-mud’ stage. Often we need some redirection and encouragement to re-think things. I like the fact that the questions and the pictures are useful to readers to journal themselves into a better direction without feeling the need to ‘talk it out’ with someone else. I like the title, which peaked my curiosity.”
“This is a sweet gentle approach to self-awareness. Easy. Simple and potentially Profound. Cool idea.”
“This is not a book in the traditional sense; it’s a tool for communicating with your own inner wisdom. I’ve been waiting to write my review until I had a chance to use this tool to coach myself through several different types of questions – both personal and professional. It’s been an amazing tool no matter what question I posed.”
“I first used this book when I had lost my job due to the downturn in the economy. At first, I just felt better about myself while going through it. Then as I made it a daily practice to look at it and, my intention becoming clearer, I began to change the way I thought about my circumstances. Instead of grieving, I began to think of the possibilities. I realized I was limiting myself and I have so much more to offer. By viewing it daily it helped me to shed the bits of information from others who were trying to ‘help’ but their ideas were not in line with my vision for myself. Without having a clear intention each day, all my tasks seemed huge and overwhelming. Now I can focus and accomplish my smaller steps realizing how they are bringing me closer to my goal. This Photo-Coaching book helped me to stop whirling around in circles and to create a map of where I want my life to go.”
What do you think? Would you like to stop a friend who’s whirling around in circles? 🙂
This Photo-Coaching book is available on Amazon in English, French, and Romanian.
