As I mentioned on a new Instagram account, I’m grateful for all the struggles that sharpened my creativity and built the skills I needed to start Aqua Paw Design! Thanks, Life! 😊
After my last exhibition (2015), I stopped expressing myself artistically (painting, jewellery, photography) because… I found it hard to reach out and couldn’t pinpoint a strong enough purpose for continuing (for an introvert like me). Little I knew that the powerful creative force within won’t accept my decision! 😊
In 2016, a “blessing in disguise” – a burnout that made it difficult to use my voice for four months – pushed me into writing and I fell in love with it! 16 books later, my visual and handmade artistic desires found a novel way of expression: Aqua Paw Design! There’s a meaningful purpose behind it!
Since Figaro (Bengal kitten) invited me to his first forest adventure last July, I fell in love with his curious, playful, and independent personality… and I browsed aimlessly funny pics and videos of cute kittens, especially with nature adventures. Now they pop up by themselves in Aqua Paw Design’s Instagram feed of followers… while allowing my creative flow to inspire and help more people reconnect with nature.
It’s good for their mental health, not just for their pets. 😊
I didn’t quit writing, coaching, and consulting. This new initiative helps me reconnect with my passion for nature photography, hiking, painting, and sewing. In my childhood, I often helped my mom; she was a talented tailor. Some Aqua Paw Design products are handmade from organic fabric, custom printed with my photographs or paintings (see Figaro’s pic).
The idea of connecting more people with nature came to me in 2012, but I didn’t know exactly how to crystallize it.
Figaro is now the Aqua Paw Design‘s Brand Ambassador and my Instagram mentor. 😊
I’m building the website and working on the first collection of pet accessories with an artistic and designer touch… for pets and their parents who love nature or are open to falling in love with it! 🍂🐾🍁🌲🦃☀️
Aqua Paw Design became a funny addition to what I’m already doing. The best part of it? It gives me more energy to focus on other aspects of my life.
Life’s journey is meant to be meaningful and have funny moments even during challenging times, isn’t it?
